More medical practice owners are accepting that cloud computing is a secure, efficient and affordable option for their health information technology needs, but with dozens of vendors purporting to offer cloud-based products, those making the purchase decision are well advised to do their due diligence during the vendor selection process, as a handful of emerging “cloud” solutions may really be client-server technology in disguise.
