Date: May 2, 2011

ATLANTA - Nuesoft Technologies Inc. today announced the spring 2011 winners of its College Health Scholarship Program. Five college and university health centers each received an in-kind donation of up to $5,000 to be used toward Nuesoft’s college health center software or electronic medical record (EMR).

The spring 2011 grant recipients are: American River College, Folsom Lake College, Winthrop University, Sacramento City College and Consumnes River College.

“Many of our applicants would not otherwise be able to automate their health centers without this grant,” said Nuesoft CEO Massoud Alibakhsh. “We’re pleased to offer a solution for a few of the many schools struggling with budget challenges.”

Nuesoft products, including Nuesoft Xpress™ clinic management software, Nuevita™ electronic health record (EHR) help college health professionals electronically manage the administrative and clinical functions related to running a college health or counseling center. Nuesoft recently added Nuesoft™ Billing Services to help health centers increase revenue by billing third party insurance companies.

Nuesoft developed its College Health Scholarship program in 2008 to commemorate its 15-year anniversary in college health, and has extended it each subsequent year due to continued demand from the college health community.
