Nuesoft Technologies Announces Fall 2008 Scholarship Winners

We're pleased to announce the fall 2008 recipients of our 15-year Anniversary Scholarships, designed to celebrate Nuesoft's fifteenth year of service in college health.

The five schools that have been awarded an in-kind-donation of Nuesoft Xpress health center management software, worth up to $15,000, are as follows: College of San Mateo, Dominican University, Samford University, St. John Fisher College and University of Missouri - St. Louis.

"With today's numerous advances in technology, it's a disconnect that some college health center professionals are still using pencils and paper to manage the health of their campus' students," said Nuesoft Technologies President and CEO Massoud Alibakhsh. "By awarding these grants, it is Nuesoft's goal to make health center automation achievable for all schools – regardless of the size of their staffs or budget. We are very pleased to welcome these five schools to our family of clients."

"We are thrilled to have been selected," said Shauna Yelton of Samford University, one of this fall's scholarship recipients. "Implementing Nuesoft Xpress will allow our staff to spend more time with our patients and enhance the services we provide. In addition, the superior method of data collection and reporting will enable us to build a strong business case of our needs for administration."

The fall winners complete the set of winning schools from the year-long initiative, which awarded a total of 10 scholarships amounting to $150,000 to college health and counseling centers. The scholarships will assist schools that would not normally be able to automate their operations. All applications were reviewed by a selection committee comprised of college health professionals.

Congratulations to all this year's winners!
