Call for Fall Scholarship Applicants

Nuesoft Technologies is now seeking applicants for the fall round of its 15-year anniversary scholarship program, which aims to distribute a total of $150,000 of Nuesoft Xpress student health management software to schools that might not otherwise have the budget to automate their health centers.

So far, six schools have been awarded these scholarships, which commemorate Nuesoft’s fifteenth year in student health.

To take account of varying university budget cycles, Nuesoft has split the application process into spring and fall rounds. Five more scholarships will be awarded in the next round.

Nuesoft Technologies President and CEO Massoud Alibakhsh urged schools to apply even if they have a very limited budget.

"This scholarship initiative is designed to assist schools that would not normally be able to take advantage of the benefits of automation," he said. "I hope that these scholarships will really make a difference to some smaller health centers that are struggling to handle immunization compliance and reporting on top of their everyday tasks."

The deadline for this second round of applications is September 5, 2008. All applications will be reviewed by a selection committee comprised of college health professionals, and fall winners will be announced on October 3.
