Templates and Encounters

Nuevita comes fully loaded with an extensive library of flowsheet templates and encounter types, helping your health center implement the electronic health record more quickly. However, Nuevita also allows you to import your existing flowsheets and create new ones at any time, allowing you to tailor your EHR to your clinic's workflow, not the other way around. Choose to input information either using a tree structure or notes, with the option of pre-populating clinical information for maximum ease of use.

Quickly record every aspect of an encounter:

• Capture History of Present Illness (HPI) and referral source
• Update past history in either structured (checkbox) or note form
• Review allergies and medication history
• Document Review of Systems
• Add or retake vital signs
• Conduct and capture a physical exam in structured, note and image form
• Update and add assessments, medications and prescriptions
• Record disposition, patient instructions and a narrative plan

Once you have finished the encounter, you can send a copy to other providers or student authorized parties electronically or in printed form.

E & M Coding

If your health center wishes to bill payers, Nuevita can use data captured in the history, exam and medical decision making areas of the encounter to calculate service levels and suggest the most appropriate E & M codes to use.
